Leila Safavi is the founder and CEO of Purist, a company advancing nuclear technology for healthcare and energy applications. With a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, she holds a patent for a technology designed for small-scale reactors to produce medical radioisotopes.

As an alumnus of Innovation Crossroads at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Leila has leveraged her expertise to secure competitive funding, including an SBIR grant from the NIH. She also serves as an ambassador for the Oncidium Foundation, promoting radiotheranostics for cancer care.
